The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is recognized as the fourth industrial revolution it enhances productivity, dependability, and competitive performance by concentrating on profitability. IIoT-enabled technologies have been reviewed implemented in several research, but more research into opportunities challenges they present necessary. This paper explores infrastructure, their role global growth, applications, challenges, future directions. IIoT applications use intelligence things to solve problems like supply chain mismanagement, data privacy risks, a weak cloud strategy, cost containment, others. For instance, fog computing reduces parking, platform, fuel, CO2 emissions. A blockchain-based security framework for cement sector can resolve 51% issues Sybil attacks caused consensus algorithms Proof Work (PoW). Major companies' depends well-designed despite significant challenges. will improve experimentation advance infrastructure.
